This view west shows the Palace of Culture and Science from Władysława Kniewskiego (currently Złota) Street. On the right, a fragment of the Junior Department Store; on the left, the Sawa Department Store. Both belong to the Centrum Department Stores complex, which is part of the East Wall Complex, an architectural ensemble of the east side of Marszałkowska Street build between 1962 and 1969.
The photograph was taken with a fisheye lens.
