This view north shows part of the East Wall complex on Marszałkowska Street. The frame features Śródmiejski Mall (currently Stefana “Wiecha” Wiecheckiego Mall). On the left, the Centrum Department Stores, on the right, Café Zodiak, in the foreground there is traffic in Widok Street.
Designed by a group of architects under Zbigniew Karpiński, the Mall was built between 1963 and 1969. Dariusz Hyc and Henryk Łaguna designed the 2006 restoration.
