This view from the hotel Victoria flower store shows Zwycięstwa Square (currently Piłsudski Square) during the funeral service of Primate Stefan Wyszyński (1901 – 1981). The photograph was taken from the hotel interior through the front window toward north onto the rear façade of the Grand Theater-National Opera. In the foreground hotel guests and present observers turned to follow the celebration.
