This aerial view shows the square crowded with people during a Book Fair. The image looks south from the Palace onto two fountain pools, two Railway Station buildings (closer to Jerozolimskie Avenue), as well as numerous fair stands and a great number of people roaming the area.
Another image from the same photographic session was published in Hartwig’s 1974 album Warszawa, unnumbered.
