This view shows a statue of Maenad designed by André Le Bruna between 1776 and 1778, wrapped in plastic. It stands on the south terrace in front of the Palace on the Isle in Royal Baths Park.
Edward Hartwig created a series of photographs of sculptures wrapped in plastic. In 1983 he exhibited the images as Protection Zones at the Little Gallery of ZPAF or the Association of Polish Art Photographers.
The photograph was published in Edward Hartwig’s 1983 Protection Zones exhibition catalogue, unnumbered pages.
