Moda Polska [Polish Fashion] Store on Bolesława Prusa Street

Hartwig, Edward

after 1963

This view shows an illuminated store window of a Polish Fashion store on Bolesława Prusa Street. Designed by Jerzy Gieysztor, the 1963 building between Wiejska and Marii Konopnickiej Streets was occupied by a two-story Moda Polska brand store that saw many a fashion show. Next to the one on Rutkowskiego (currently Chmielna) Street, this was a leading brand store.
The frame looking south shows part of the façade bottom. A neon sign reading Moda Polska tops the store window.
