Peasants’ Deed Monument

This view shows the Peasants’ Deed Monument by Stanisław Sikora. It stood in front of the main seat of the United People’s Party (currently the Polish People’s Party) at 4 Grzybowska Street. The obelisk was unveiled on May 30th, 1968. Dismantled in 2006, it was relocated to the Museum of the Polish Peasant Movement in Piaseczno near Gniew. 
A broader version of the image was published in Hartwig’s 1974 album Warszawa.
